Delete your account

There are two ways to delete a Gustable account. Both delete the same things and are equally irreversible.

In the app

1. Open Gustable and sign in.
2. Profile → Delete account.
3. Confirm. The account and its data are deleted immediately.

By email — if the app is not installed

Write to us from the address you signed in with: that is how we find the account. You cannot delete someone else account from another address — otherwise anyone could.

What gets deleted

• profile: name, email, gender, year of birth, avatar
• diets, allergies and restrictions
• weekly menu, shopping list, pantry
• favourite dishes, XP and level, achievements
• recipe ratings and records of redeemed promo codes

When

From the live database — immediately. From backups — within 30 days: backups are overwritten on a rotation and a single record cannot be pulled out of them separately.

Subscription

Deleting the account does not cancel a Google Play subscription — Google takes the payment, so cancel it there: Google Play → Subscriptions → Gustable → Cancel.
